- hardly ever barks at anything (except for horses and bulls on
TV)
- happy-go-lucky and prances with a light and airy bounce
- snow shoveling with his nose
- chasing a ball and bringing it back (yes, he retrieves balls!)
- loves all people and other animals
- like a cat, Cowboy loves to bask in the sun
- licks your hands and holds your hand in his mouth
- stands on his hind legs and walks backwards to get a better
look at things
- when he wants something he will "pogo stick" by repeatedly
jumping up and hitting my leg with his front paws and bouncing
backwards until he finally gets my attention
- loves to go for rides in the truck, and especially hang his
head out the window
- loves to sniff and explore the woods, fields, creeks, and sidewalks
- follows the riding lawn mower around the yard
- picks up small items in his mouth and throws them up in the
air - over and over again
- plays chase with the other dogs and loves to entice them to
chase him!
- loves to curl up on the bed with his human/dog family
- when he is outside and I call for him, he looks at me and stands
really still. He won't move a muscle. He thinks I cannot see him.
Then I say, "Cowboy, I can see you." Then he comes running!
